Co-Owner, External Affairs Director

Eriks is a co-owner of Namaste Solar, a leading solar electric integrator serving homes, businesses, non-profits, as well as governmental entities up and down the Colorado front-range. His current job role at Namaste Solar is the Director of External Relations. In that capacity he helps build consensus within the solar industry as well as lead governmental relations and policy efforts to keep the industry growing.

During his 4-year tenure with Namaste Solar, Eriks facilitated the development of the legal infrastructure for Namaste Solar’s unique employee-owned, democratically-managed business model. Eriks was previously employed in industrial-scale wind power development, where he led business development activities for a number of community-based wind power projects in the southwestern U.S. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (CoSEIA) in addition to the Chair of the statewide PV Policy Subcommittee. Eriks earned his B.A. in European Government from the College of William & Mary and spends his personal time exploring; be it in the outdoors or at the public library.
