Dr. Kevin J. Dooley

Professor - Department of Supply Chain Management


Dr. Kevin Dooley is a Professor of Supply Chain Management, and a Dean’s Council of 100 Distinguished Scholar, in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.  Dr. Dooley is a world-known expert in the application of complexity science to help organizations improve.  He has published over 100 research articles and co-authored an award winning book, “Organizational Change and Innovation Processes”.  He is currently Director the Electronics Sector in The Sustainability Consortium.  He has been awarded two patents concerning Centering Resonance Analysis, a novel form of network text analysis, and is co-founder and CEO of Crawdad Technologies, LLC, a provider of text analysis software for academics.
  
Dr. Dooley has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, and a BSIE and MSIE from the University of Illinois.  Dr. Dooley has held numerous academic leadership positions, including: Director of the Industrial Engineering at University of Minnesota; Co-Director of the ASU Software Factory, a research and service center devoted to supporting the software development activities of ASU research projects; and Director of the W. P. Carey Technology MBA.  He has served as President, and is currently a Trustee of the Society for Chaos Theory in Psychology and the Life Sciences.  His is also active in Academy of Management, Decision Sciences Institute, and INFORMS.  He has consulted with over 125 companies in the areas of quality, organizational change, risk management, supply management, and innovation, including Intel, Motorola, Raytheon, Honeywell, 3M, Citibank, Toyota, LG, and Ford.
