Purchase Carbon Offsets for Your Summit Trip
Visit Denver recently launched a carbon calculator for travelers, which is free for anyone to use. You can use it to calculate your individual carbon footprint, based on how far you are traveling to the Summit and the length of your hotel stay while in town. You can then choose to purchase carbon offsets equal to the carbon output. CORE encourages all attendees to calculate and offset the emissions from your travel to Denver via the Colorado Carbon Fund.All contributions to the Fund support new clean energy projects in Colorado which reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
